Safina Kimbokota used mixed media, including paper and recycled fabrics, and paint and black ink, to create her map of Dar es Saleem. The map shows the beautiful skyline of Dar with its famous buildings such as the Mkapa Tower and the Waterfront Building. The variety of African patterns in the background fabric symbolize the rich diversity of cultures in Tanzania.
