Marco Hernandez

Marco Hernandez was born and raised in San Antonio Aguas Calientes.   His artistic career began when he opened a small artisan shop in Antigua, selling bracelets and necklaces.  While working making jewelry he became increasingly interested in painting.  Hernandez learned how to paint through self-study and by working with neighboring artists in Antigua.  His paintings celebrate the traditions and cultures of Guatemala and can be found in homes and galleries around the world.
